Regina’s Lab

10:30-2:00

I ran the new experiment today! It was actually a lot of fun. The participants mostly saw the white car, but overall I don’t think that it really affected how they viewed the experiment. It was a successful lab!

Erica’s Lab

Today I coded and typed a total of 19 narratives!  I also realized that I forgot to bring the narratives to the meeting that I couldn’t decipher…but I added more to the pile today, so hopefully I’ll remember to bring them next week!

Megan’s Lab

This morning I coded 291 and part of 292!  I ran experiments today and finished our first study! We will need copies for tomorrow, the copy machine was not agreeing with me, and I didn’t get to print that many the right way.  So we will need more mood evaluations and debriefing sheets.  I gave everyone credit but haven’t marked it off the list. I will do that on Monday.  Thanks so much!

New studies on their way…

We have almost reached the end of the first subliminal study! Congrats to us all!

Study 2 for the image evaluation study is up and ready to run when we finish Study 1. The protocol is labeled “car”. If you are the person who finishes Study 1, be sure to put all materials and data from Study 1 in one pile and separate them from Study 2 materials – we do not want them to become mixed.

Another related study is almost ready to be run as well. More on this at the meeting…

Regina’s Lab

9:30-2:00

Howdy! Well, today I master coded #331-#334, then I got to run participants! I ran them from 12:30-2. I also organized all of the coding sheets, so now when you are finished coding one sheet, just file it in the back of the binder in its corresponding spot. I also added name tags to each folder in the binder. They look great!

Today, I started the experimenter coding and did 278 and 290! Those take a lot longer to do, but I am developing a system, so it is getting easier. I also ran one hour of experiments.
