I coded from 11-2pm today. I was able to find all of the videos from the Levenson & Gross study so now we dont have to rent them. I found all of the song clips for the Ferraro, King, Ronning, Perkarski, and Risan study online. I completed the Dalbert study so that one is ready for coding also. I also set up a new youtube account so that way everyone can access the videos and music clips for coding. I’ll explain more on what to do with that later!

today i only had one person signed up for my experiment at 1:30, so from 1 to 1:30 i did some coding and got conversations 384 and 385 out of the way – somehow i skipped over 383 but i’ll do it tomorrow when i come in. my participant completed the experiment and survey very quickly so we got out a little early.
Today I coded from 8-9 and got through 4 conversations. We’re almost through. I think I will be done by next Tuesday.
Today I was in the lab from 1-5. I set up a new facebook account today to reach people to fill out our surveys. I’m now e-mailing parents of both groups and I hope to get a lot of responses; however, today it has been slow as far as responses go. So far I have contacted about 60 people, but it’s tough to get actual e-mail addresses of anyone. I’ve joined several blogs and have posted our information accordingly, but those don’t seem to have much success.
today i did coding from 11:30 to 1:30 and coded conversations 378-382. There are about 7 conversations left to code so i should be done either this wednesday or next monday!
I didn’t have any studies to run, so I just did a little coding. I’m waiting to see if anyone signs up but is is 10 and so far no one has. We only have one participant today and that is at 12:30. I hope that after spring break our participants will pick back up. Hope everyone has a great week!
today i ran experiments from 11:30 to 12:30. all 6 of my participants showed up, and one of them took an air quality pamphlet without me even offering it to them. so far none of my subjects have caught on to the flashing word images 
Today I coded from 9-11. I stayed an hour longer because I was not able to code yesterday. I got through 8 conversations. See everyone later!

I ran Image Eval experiments from 9 to 11 this morning with stellar success.
This afternoon I coded narratives 242 through 253 from 3 to 4 o clock, and listened to my reggae mix for the 100th time this semester (a personal reggae record).

today i ran experiments from 1 to 2, and 7 out of 8 of my participants showed up. everything went well and two of my subjects actually had additional comments during the debriefing questions! also one of the participants was a guy who went to my high school and was friends with my sister so that was pretty weird. we’re running low on air quality pamphlets and credit slips, and we need a new sign in sheet but i already told regina, so other than that everything seems to be going fine 
also, i noticed the door to our lab room with the two computers and couch was unlocked today! i had to push in one of the buttons on the inside of the door to get it to lock back…
