Misha’s Coding
Today I master coded from 8-9. I got through conversations 228-348. I finally got to the conversations that I coded! I am still unable to find Kami’s #326. I am hoping that it will show up soon.

jenny’s meta- analysis
In the lab from 12:30- 4:00. Jamie and I worked on about three different articles, just going over questions I had and finishing them up. Got a lot accomplished. I checked out the surveys and so far no more responses…out of the 70 people I e-mailed…
shelby’s data entry
today i entered aim conversations 371 to 381. now all of the conversations are entered except for the statement categories, so i still need to go back through all of the conversations and enter those.
Misha’s Experiments
Today I ran experiments from 9-11. All 4 of my participants showed up today! They were all guys, which has never happened to me before. They actually showed up on time and followed instructions. The experiments went really well today.

Tina’s Coding
Today I coded the emotion elicitation project from 11am- 2pm. I got a lot done. I transferred all of the studies to the hlench account on youtube so now everyone can start coding those. I didn’t get a chance to print off coding sheets yet, because I have to run to class. I also got the email out to Dr. Ambady to get the film for that study and started sorting out the rest of the emails to be sent. Everything was great.

today i was in the lab from 1 to 2, but only had participants signed up from 1:30 to 2. i entered aim conversations 366-370 into SPSS while i waited. only one of the participants showed up for my experiment, and she had somewhere to be at 2 so it seemed like she just rushed through the experiment…

Today I master coded conversations 320-337. Both conversations are pretty consistent with one another, except for a few word counting errors. Everything seems to be going good. Hope everyone has a great week!

Jenny- survey
In the lab from 1-5. Contacted over 70 people via myspace today. Came across some trouble at the beginning with getting the web address to copy over, but Dr. Lench found a way around it, at least for the time being.
