Friday

I ran experiments today from 12:00pm-1:00pm but only my first participant showed up. He was very excited by his prize though. I learned today that the ding can be heard through the closed computer room door if the other door remains cracked open.

I ran studies today from 9:30 to 11 and from 2:30 to 3:30, all but one participant showed up and everything went well!

Running experiments

I forgot to code yesterday, but I ran experiments from 9:30 to 11 and had three participants. Everything went well. I also ran studies today from 3-4 and had all four participants in each study, all went well in those also. Happy Hump Day!

I ran today from 12-2pm. All four participants showed up. Then at the lab meeting, we learned about emotional elicitations which I get to start on Monday. Happy Wednesday!

January 26 and 28

I came in at 8:45 to train on the experiment and practiced with Dr. Lench. However, no one was able to sign up for my slot of 9-10, so I just made sure I understood how to do everything. Also, I was supposed to code from 1:30-3:30, but Dr. Lench said to hold off until she goes over emotion elicitation with us in the meeting.
Today, I ran my first experiments from 9-10 and it went smoothly. Looking forward to the meeting!

First Run

I ran experiments for the first time today from 3-5pm. Three people signed up and all three showed up on time if not early. Timing for this experiment is a crap shoot since it depends on how fast each participant reads. Keeps things interesting.
