Ashley’s Run/Coding (10.28.09)

Today (Wednesday), I ran the gambling experiment for 1 hour from 1130-1230. Then I coded for 1 hour from 1230-130. Finally, I ran the last bit of the gambling study for 2 hours from 3-5. Only 1 of my participants didn’t show 🙂 I was pleased. The day went well.

Updating My Hours

I know blogged more but I can’t find all the hours on wordpress. The following is all the time I’ve spent in the lab so far:

Week One: Sept 16th: Ran 2hrs

Week Two: Sept 21st: Ran 2 hours Sept 23rd: Ran 2 hours

Week Three: Sept 28th: Ran 2 hrs Sept 30th: Ran 2 hrs

October:

Week Four: October 5th: Ran 2 hrs October 7th: Ran 2 hrs October 9th: 2 hrs organizing papers in Peterson

Week Five: Oct 12th: Ran 2 hrs Oct 14th: Ran 2 hrs Oct 16th: 2 hrs coding

Week Six: Oct 19th: Ran 2 hrs Oct 21st: Ran 2 hrs Oct 23rd: 2 hours coding

Week Seven: Oct 26th: Ran 2 hrs Oct 28th: Ran 2 hrs

Then since I am a project manager I’ll add on one hour for each week.

Then I have a total of 39 hours. At the end of Week Seven I should have 49 hours. The ten hours I am missing is due to the eight hours I missed at the beginning of the semester and the two hours of coding I have yet to due this week. Those eight hours will be made up through additonal coding and organizing more papers in the Peterson building.

Ashley’s Run (10.26.09)

Today I ran the gambling study in the Peterson lab for 2 hours from 1130-130. I had 2 out of 4 of my participants show 🙁 which made the time go by rather slowly. Hopefully Wednesday will be better.

Ashley’s Run/Code (10.21.09)

I ran the gambling study for 1 hour from 1130-1230, coded SPSS for 1 hour as well from 1230-130. Then, 3 o’clock rolled around, I figured since now I only have 1 participant at a time the hours would go by faster but I was wrong. I ran the experiment from 3-330, my 330 didn’t show and neither did my 4 o’clock, however my 430 did show but told me that “she almost didn’t make it.” I lasted for 2 hours from 3-5 running this gambling experiment.

Ashley’s Run (10.19.09)

I began the new gambling study which is now one on one with just me and the participant. I ran this experiment for 2 hours from 1130-130, thought it went rather well and all of my first participants showed up.

Ashley’s Run/Code (10.14.09)

I ran the last participants for the grouped gambling study for 1 hour from 1130-1230, then I coded in the Peterson bldg from 1230-130. I was notified that I could not run my 3-330 experiment so I made copies of forms I needed for my participants during this time. Then from 330-5, I ran the gambling study.

Ashley’s Coding (10.13.09)

I began SPSS coding in the Peterson bldg for 1 hour from 1050-1150. I happen to like SPSS coding better than the audio files for the gambling study.
