Came in and pretty much ran participants the whole time. Believe it or not, we actually had no shows even though its basically the last day. I did have one group of 5 guys come in, so much testosterone in one small room. Anyway, I did have a few extra minutes here and there so I worked on choices 1 new intentions coding for Kathleen that Jessica didn’t finish. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to finish it either. Sorry Kathleen!
and that’s a wrap!
today: 3 hours
Came in an hour and a half early because I needed to make up time and worked on coding for kathleen that Jessica didn’t get to finish. Then I ran a participant and had a no-show.
Today 3 hours
this week: 9 hours plus meeting (10 total)
Today I worked from 10:30 to 12:30. I had three participants signed up for the IF study, and only one showed up. She came almost 15 minutes late but I ran her anyways since I had an extra 30 minutes to code afterwards. Glad I at least got one participant on my last day of lab! I then inputted some cheesecake data into SPSS, and studied a little for my psyc exam. Good last day!!! 🙂
Today: 2 hrs
Total this week: 7 hrs
I ran the individual forecast and coded cheesecake videos.
Total 7 hours
I was in the lab from 11:20-12:20. I entered the most recent cold pressor data into SPSS. I also checked cold tolerance consent forms and looked over my presentation that I’m presenting at the meeting.
I finished inputting the data for Schlegal and emailed that and the names list to Dr. Lench. I really enjoyed research this semester and loved getting to know everyone! I’m sorry to see all the graduates go but they’re off to bigger and better things:) Have a great summer everyone! (see you next Fall)
